Okay so I did some research and found out the problem with Merle. The problem is that if you take 2 Merle dogs and breed them it puts the pups at high risk to being blind and deaf. Also dogs with the light blue eye is 80% likely to go blind. So I'm thinking hear the reason why it shouldn't be bread is because of the risk of passing on BAD genes. Please feel free to correct me if what I read is bull #$@!. No hard feelings.
