I am a little upset... so please correct me if Im wrong!

Guys.. I am getting real frustrated here. As some of you may have known but some of you don't...
the online dog show was started last year by another member. We had to PAY to enter and still half way thru the year, this other member completely bailed out and did NOT return our money or see to finishing the contest. After a couple months of all of us grumbling and being upset, I decided to take it upon myself to see to finishing the contest.
I am a stay at home mom of a seven year old, a newborn and a deaf two year old. So please let me tell you that time and money are two things I have VERY little of! Yet I love this competition, think it is fun and worth while to get people to interact together on this sight in a positive manner and decided that I could make the sacrifice in order to keep in going when NO ONE else would step in.
Now I am not looking for any praise here or even thanks for that matter but I am constantly being grumbled against and now accused of directing traffic away from the site ?? if I understand correctly?
It takes me at LEAST eight hours and I have been known to take up to a FULL day to process all the pictures.. there is alot of time consuming things that have to be done especially with my slow internet connection but having to download them all, save them, sort them to there categories, resize them, upload them, print screen the categories, edit the print screen, import that to a different program so that I can add the numbers, save them and upload them again to PBS and create the individual polls plus all the time I spend trying to promote and creating new events/blogs etc to try to let people know they are there.. let me tell you there has not been a single contest where I don't find myself in TEARS of frustration by the time it is all uploaded and ready to vote on.
In an effort to save time I began posting the pictures to a HIDDEN page on my website because my website will do the first resizing of the pictures for me automaticly which is a huge time saver and the sole reason that I can get the contest done in 8 to 10 hours now. I had NO plans on publishing the fact that the pictures where processed there until another member on here complained that the pictures in the polls were hard to see in the bigger competitions where there were a lot of entries. That was a valid concern and unfortunely I have NO control over the size of pictures that are allowed to be uploaded here to PBS. So you do what you have to do which is make the pictures smaller and smaller until PBS will allow them to be uploaded. And thats it, thats all you can do. Afraid that people might take it the wrong way at first (ie: promoting myself or directing people away from the site), I only gave my website info to this member so that she could see the bigger pics in order to vote. However this member felt it was an awesome idea to post the link so that others could see the pictures bigger and recommended that I post the link. Having no other way to show the pictures bigger due to the limitations of this site, I did begin posting the link to my HIDDEN page as not to draw attention to myself and therefore away from this site.
So I think we have had really good response and ever increasing entries to the contest which has been wonderful! But yet at the same time, there are more and more grumblings and upsetness being directed 'at' me. I say 'at' me because in most cases they are just being posted and not emailed or asked of me directly.
Common complaints.....
               1.     I didn't even know that the contest was going on
     I post an event in the Online Dog Show Group everytime there is a new competition and voting. I then use that event to email all the members directly in the group with an invitation to attend the new event. When the response has not been as high as normal, I will then as well post a blog. I also post a shoutout in the online dog show group as well as a shout out on the main dashboard of PBS. In addition, I leave a comment on the main page of the online dog show group letting everyone know the new event has started as well as posting this to the main page of PBS. So PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT MORE I CAN DO TO KEEP EVERYONE INFORMED??!?
                 2.     my pictures were not entered into the contest
        This is a problem that happens occasionally and I am truly sad when it does. Again let me state the fact that though my PBS status may be listed as 'staff'.. I am a VOLUNTEER which means I do not get paid or even instructed by the APBR. In regards to this competition there would be no earthly reason or advantage that I would have in intentionally leaving out anyones pictures!! Also being unpaid volunteer, I have NO SAY in the upload limits that PBS uses. If your picture is under the limits of size and goes thru, you will receive an email verification automaticly. If you do not receive the email, I did NOT get your picture.

So now most of you are probally wondering what on earth I am up here rambling about for so long.... but let me tell you that it is most unheartening to sign on here to Pit Bull Social, a site that I love to check quite frequently, and feel people hating towards me. Seriously guys I love this site! It is my little break from the madness of round the clock feeding the newborn and chasing down my son who is definitely in his terrible two's. I try my best to make a positive contribution to this site although I will admit of late it has been as hard to be as active as I like to be, I still sign on quite often.
Obviously things go wrong at times.... but can't we act like the FAMILY we say we are and try to do something about it together? Can't I have the decency of your support by your offering suggestions on how to make it better instead of threatening to defriend me or leave the site all together? Can't you email me personally if you feel that I am somehow trying to do this all for my own benefit? Because honestly, where I sit right now, I can not understand that in the slightest. In all honestly I would welcome someone else taking over this competition should they want to.
