I was directed to this site as a resource for getting my pit out there and active. I've done some research on games/activities for dogs in general and believe that lure coursing would be right up my dog's alley.
Does anyone here have any information on groups/clubs that do anything like this on the east coast? It seems that most clubs in my area are breed specific (and not for pits).
I feel like my dog brings so much to my family and would love to do something nice for him too. I typically take him out with my mountain bike to give him a chance to stretch his legs, but regardless of how long, far, and fast we go he's always ready for more. On top of that, the area I'm in isn't great for biking and I'm always concerned about traffic.
I'm seriously coming up dry at every turn but will not give up. There has to be soemthing I can with Otis to give him an opportunity to just be a dog and wear himself out.
