16 Months old is way too young to breed? 3 years old should be the youngest. You have to test her first. Has she won any weight pulls, has she won and conformation shows, has she won any Boar Catching competitions? If not is she worth breeding? Even if she is 16 Months is just way too young.

Actually 2 yrs is the minimum age a female should ever be bred... ideal would be on the 3rd heat cycle and never the 1st.
