OUR VERY 1ST. LITTER MANY YEARS AGO-WE TOOK THE BABIES INTO OUR VETS TO HAVE THEIR DEW CLAWS REMOVED.HE TOOK A PAIR OF HEMOSTATS,PINCHED THE DEW CLAW,TWISTED IT AND PULLED IT OUT BY THE ROOTS!!!PUPS WERE SCREAMING THEIR LITTLE LUNGS OUT AND AFTER THAT-I SAID NEVER AGAIN.

ya I can't stand the idea myself.. another reason I don't raise boxers as much as I like em the whole docking and dew clawing at a couple days old is just too much for me!
