I absolutely agree. Also if you have a criminal record, you should not be allowed to own a pit bull. I HATE owners that think they should just breed 2 dogs to make a quick buck, it's ridiculous and it is personally offensive to me. I LOVE this breed, and i will NEVER own a different type of dog, and no one will tell me i can't have pit bulls. BUT they are NOT for everyone. They requie a lot of socialization, and i take so much time into taking care of my dogs, and i put so much effort into it when i make a selection for a breeding it's not just oh that dog is pretty, let's see what happens. No offense but Line breeding and inbreeding isn't right either. I think it's BS that people are just trying to create a look or keep a trait and they feel the only way to do that is to inbreed or line breed.I work for a vet... I see what this does... hip problems, knee problems, eye issues, deafness, and many other serious diseases. I see this crap every day, and it's heart breaking.If you truly love this breed you wouldn't want to subject them to that sort of future. It adds to the demise of this breed. There are PLENTY of dogs out there and there is absolutely no need for inbreeding and line breeding.
