During my few months stay in Ohio, I adopted my first dog, Gibson (now 3yo boxer). He's the best dog ever. We've been looking for a companion for him, but nothing ever seemed to work. He was ugly to males though be always wanted to play with them. Crazy. Jealous maybe? We saw Aurora in an ad on Craigslist, well not pictures anyhow and I was Curious to know how he would get along with another dog, especially a female… And a Pit Bull on top of all that.
Coming from Miami, I heard and saw all the hype and even saw many breed for fights. So I could see how they got such a bad rap Nd even banned fr Miami all together. Such irresponsible owners. Sad.
Well, when we met her she was a ball of energy. Still is. You can leave her in the cave for 10 minutes and leave the room, come back, let her out and it's a whirlwind all over again. She's like a tazmanian devil you see in the cartoons. Cute and yet annoying sometimes too. It lasts Bout 10-15 minutes and its over. She's been a great addition to our home minus the constant yapping and barking when they play. Other than that, these two are a great pair of friends. Oh wait. She's bossy too. Bullies him at times.
