I am new to the breed ..have been gsd breeder for years .I am feeding my dogs diamond my two year old American male pit is thin , not malnourished , he is muscular but just so thin , he is a healthy energetic boy , how long do males take to mature .? In sheps they justlook kinda goofy till they are 4 or so.is it just his bloodline? You can see pics of him on mcphersoncarter.any help with diet would be appreciated.

some bloodlines do mature much later than others and it in not uncommon in our breed for the males to continue gaining weight til 3 at least. I personally have not had good experience with diamond. I use diamonds for my both my pits and they have beefed up nicely. Really it's genetics and time
