i wanted to know if you can give a female her rabies shot after giving birth. and if it will affect her or the puppies . my female is due in about 2 weeks and i need to give her and my male there shots because some one called animal control and said they bit some one and distroyed property and other thing when clearly they did not do any of this and now they want there shot records and i didnt have them you know kids when they find something its fair game so now i need to give them there rabies shot again and just need to know if its safe for my female to get it after she gives birth

my vet says nothing while preggo.. no shots or even dewormer and makes me call poison control to get the right flea control. always tells me to wait til birth and then shots are fine but I dont know bout the rabies I never asked him.
