Uggg! Miss Amity has had the poops for 4 days now. She has vomited a couple of times. Her appetite for food and water sucks. I can get her to eat canned food but it pretty much comes back out. Other than these issues she is acting prefectly normal. Doesn't act sick or like she is in any pain. So... I bring to work with me today and call the vet at 8am for an appointment. We get an appointment for 10:30am. They ask me to "get a sample".... yuck! lol Amity starts acting as if the urge has come yet again this morning. So off we go outside me with my ziplock baggy and plastic spoon. (Didn't want to throw away a good spoon. Wink )  She runs full throttle around the yard as usual stops to eat some grass. Not even 30 seconds after eating the grass the she heaving. I think hmmm?! maybe I should get a sample of that just incase she doesn't poo. Low and behold guess what  ifind in her vomit!!! YEP! A nice 2 inch piece of corn cob. How did she get this? seeing as she very rarely leaves my sight. We had corn on the cob about 2 weeks ago. She is a better Hoodieny (spell?) than I could have ever thought. She some how got it out of the trash can that is 3 feet high and sits on an 8 inch ledge... With out tipping it over. HMMMM!!!!! Anyway, I got my "other" sample and we headed to the vet. They weighed her and checked her for worms and other fun things. They found she has actually gained weight through all of this and has no worms or other bugs. The vet pokes and prods on her tummy while she so grasciously gives him kisses. He finds a lump that doesn't seem to bother her. needless to say the x-ray shows another small piece of something in her intestine. Corn Cob??? Probably. Its to far for her to throw it up but he says she should be able to pass it. His words... " You'd be surprised at the size of the things that will come out of there." LMAO at him and her and about to cry because I'm worried and really can't afford this vet bill. He told me to give her gatorade, soft food, some pills he gave for vomiting and some slickem up stuff they give to cats for furballs. we are going to give her a few days to see if it will pass on its own or if he will have to go in and get it. I so hope it comeso ut on its own. Everything we did today and the new food for a few days is costing $150. Ugggg. Any way ya'll have a great day. I just needed to vent and laugh a little at miss Amity.

Pits are something else tho arent they! Don't worry bout the grass eating tho that is nature's way of helping them get rid of something like she then did do. Hopefully it comes out on its own!!<br>
