My dog was mated back on  January 17 and since she has gained some weight not too much and her nipples have turned a really light pink and have dropped down as if she's carrying milk and her vulva is still huge after all this time all this time. But I count the days and she should have went into labour around the 22nd of march..... Confused , any and all answers would be helpful.

She could be having a false pregnancy. I also read they could go up to I think 72 days before they have the puppies. If you're not sure if she's pregnant then the only sure way would be to take her to the vet for an x-ray. I'm sure one of the more experienced people will be able to add more info and advice. Smile

TAKE HER TO THE VET. FOR A SONAGRAM TO BE SURE.DOGS WILL CARRY THE PUPS ANY WHERE FROM 58-63 DAY'S-SO SHE MAYBE A LITTLE LATTER GIVING BIRTH THAN YOU THOUGHT.A VET.CHECK WILL LET YOU KNOW FOR SURE.BUT IF SHE ISN'T THAN IT IS A FALSE PREGNANCY-NOT UNCOMMON.
