Hello,
My partner and I live in Los Angeles, and we found a Pit Bull puppy in the park who had apparently been there for at least several hours. We took him to the North Central shelter and put up lost dog signs in the neighborhood but no one came forward to claim him. So we adopted him out of the shelter to save him from being euthanized and we are looking for help. We can't personally foster him at this time and we have found a place for him for the rest of the week but we don't know what we are going to do after that. Is there any help you can provide? Do you know anyone who would foster? He is a very sweet puppy estimated 7 months old by the pound and 30 lbs. He was friendly to us and to our dog and played with other dogs, and we can take bully sticks right out of his mouth while he is chewing on them and he does not growl. We named him Linus.  The picture of my "Avatar" is him.
Please let me know if you can help or if you have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Becky & Gretchen

have you tried posting on craiglist? It is normally pretty anti-pitbull but normally if you post the backround story you will catch someones eye. Best of luck in finding him a wonderful forever home!
