I have 3 dogs but one of them doesnt live with me. todays is her first time visiting me at my house and my 2 other dogs. my brindle does very well with other dogs but my black one isnt to social with them. I'm wondering how to introduce her n get her used to being around the puppy since she doesnt come by at all until now. I think my black one would tear her apart so I have the other 2 separated from the puppy.  my puppy is 10 weeks old n hasnt been socialized with many dogs so i would love for her to be around my other 2 n get along. How would i go about introducing them to eachother n keep the black one from giving her the stare like shes going to eat her.

I WOULD INTRODUCE HER TO THE BRINDLE-UNDER SUPERVISION OF COURSE-AND LET THEM GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER.ONCE YOU KNOW THEY WILL GET ALONG....I WOULD VERY CAREFULLY INTRODUCE HER TO YOUR BLACK.HAVE YOUR BLACK ON A CHOKE COLLAR AND LEAD-LET THEM GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER.IF YOUR BLACK STARTS ACTING EVEN JUST ALITTLE FUNNY TOWARDS THE PUP-OR GIVES IT 'THAT LOOK' JERK THE COLLAR HARD WITH THE COMMAND 'NO'.SHE HAS TO LEARN NOT TO GO AFTER THE PUP.
BUT I WOULD NEVER LEAVE THE PUP ALONE WITH EITHER ONE UNTIL YOU KNOW THEY CAN BE TRUSTED.
GOOD LUCK.................HOPE IT ALL WORKS OUT.

thanks so far the brindle n the pup get along wonderfully i have yet to put her face to face with the black on a lead but they see eachother threw a gate by the living room entrance she gives her a look like shes interested in her n doesnt bark n growl like crazy like she usually does with other dogs. I need to have another person with me when i do the actual introduction so one can be holding the puppy n one holdin the black one. my brindle seems to keep things calm everytime the black on growls she growls n nips at her almost trying to keep a kind of order. yes my brindle is the dominant one between the 2. ill update on how it goes with the other 2 gettin to know eachother.

Glad to hear things are going well!

Make sure, if you bring another person into the mix, to choose someone that is a very calm and collected person; any anxiety about a dog fight or spastic movements, are usually the reason for dog fights in my experience.
