4 MOS.SOUNDS REALLY WAY TO EARLY TO BE COMING INTO HEAT....I AM SURE IT IS POSS. BUT NOT LIKELY.MOST FEMALES DON'T COME INTO THEIR 1ST. CYCLE UNTIL 8-9 MOS.ALTHOUGH SOME DO COME IN AT 6MOS.SOME OVER 1YR. FOR THEIR 1ST.HEAT. HOW OLD IS YOUR MALE JACK? IF HE IS A YOUNG DOG...HE MAYBE JUST BE REALIZING THAT HE IS A MALE AND SHE IS A FEMALE.DOESN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT HE IS SUPPOSE TO DO BUT JUST KNOWS SHE'S DIFFERENT AND HE IS SUPPOSE TO LIKE HER. IF A OLDER JACK-THEN BECAUSE SHE IS GROWING UP-SHE IS BEGINING TO GET THAT OLDER FEMALE SMELL.STILL SMELLS PUPPY BUT WITH JUST A HINT OF GROWN.
BUT BILL IS RIGHT-SEPERATE THE 2 JUST IN CASE.BUT JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE HIM NEUTURED-THEY CAN STILL BREED UP TIL 6 MOS AFTERWARDS AND GET A FEMALE PREG.
