A guy on facebook is sayin if a dogs ears are cropped it affects there hearing ability. I see this as plausible maybe, his theory is without the full ear the sound cant funnel in. My thought is with the ear not folded over the sound would enter more freely. Whats your opinions?

Cropping itself does not affect their hearing at all.But because of the ear cropping-water can easily get into the ears, setting up poss. infection. And the infection can cause hearing probs if not treated-but not the cropping itself

Cropping the ear acctually does the opposite of hindering the ability of the said dog to hear, but in turn actually allows the dog to hear BETTER.
