I had a friend call me last night that acquired a 30 foot X 10 foot kennel that is welded wire and in good shape...I dont know the brand nor does he. I have searched around and cant find a price. Does anyone know about what this thing is worth? I have a car engine he is trying to trade it for. The car engine is worth 800 to a grand.

Depends, they have one thats a 10x10 down the road from me for 500.00 thats welded wire, well worth the money.. Look up hog panel, same stuff.
At 1000.00 , a 30x10 kennel of welded wire doesn't seem that bad of a deal.

Welded wire comes in different gages.The lighter stuff dogs can pull and bust the weld no prob.I know...our Boston went through a lot made with it in the blink of an eye!!Now the hog panels....buddy they are stout!!And one thing about it...if a hog can't get throught...an'it no dog ever going to get through it!!!
