Hi all! I'm new in the neighborhood and just found the forums. I have a new little Pit girl named Dixie, and I am interested in maybe getting into weight pulling down the road.
I would LOVE to hear from you guys on what physical/mental characteristics you look for in a pup that you would consider for pulling.
I believe Dixie is from York lines....

I would like some feed back on this too, I have a beasty male I'd love 2 see what he could do with weighht pulling. but I never see shows with the APBR for that.

I am active in weightpulling.

The first step is to go to an event and see what it is really about. Next is to get a correct fitted weight pull harness, I get mine from Missy Villines..they range from $35 to $100. depending on the size of the dog.

Next is the training...

Also... Rose, UKC, IWPA, ADBA, Iron Dog, AADR all do weight pulling .
