To me having natural ears on a working dog just makes sense. Also dogs ears are there for protection for the inside of ears.

What type of work do you use your dogs for? You are correct about protection, do Dobermans, etc. get a lot of ear infections?

Not about dobbies but I know alot of appt and bullies that ear infections and their ears are cropped
