I love the talk on Genetics. I love to read and learn something new everyday. I also know you can't really know a dogs genetics unless you do a genetic test (Or so I have been told). But I'm just curious; My pup Jud I call a Red Nose; But Is he really a 'red nose'? I've been told he looks more like his nose is liver and not red. Also His Piebald spots confuse me. Are the red? Brown? Fawn? I don't seem to understand. Last his eyes. One of his eyes is half Amber and the other part is blue. What causes this? And if bred would that trait be carried to puppies? (Just wondering) Oh And he also has the ticking gene. How common is this in American Pit Bull Terriers?

Also, conformation wise (aside from the minor faults listed), How is his body structure? Is he suppose to have that arch in his back end?

D: I know so many questions. I will post pics now. Just let me know what you think of him overall. :D

I plan on working him. I also want to know what Bloodlines have more terrier looking dogs. I want to eventually get a bitch later with the same characteristics.

However this boy looks to be from game lines, not bully. I am not the biggest expert in the game lines.. wish some game breede... View More

No, remember Amber, he's my rescue. But you think a Game line? I'll ask around. I've been told Boudreaux. I'll see if I can get a hold of Syd or McCoy and see if they have any info. ^^ You are still very helpful Amber, I do love the information you share.
