I'd definitely would like game, although I find the bullies one of a kind. If you're a couch potato a bully is the breed for you. I am just amazed at how big they are. Are they considered pit bulls and what have they been crossed breeed with. Some type of bull mastiff or regular bulldog... Maybe a cane corso or something... Maybe steroids, I don't know...

Well, I wouldn't really say that certain bloodlines have a 'standard'... they may carry certain traits though. Like, you can have a RE bloodlined APBT that isn't a complete bully and then see a RE dog that is very bully. Not every dog from a bloodline has to look the same.

But to answer your question, Dutchess is a beautiful dog. In her black and white photo (even though it's not a full body shot)... it just looks amazing! She has an awesome head, nice clean lips and a snout that isn't too short or anything. One of her side view water pics also looks great.... The only thing I could think of why that person said she didn't fit the 'Jeep standard' is that she might have a lil' more weight. We've only seen a few Jeep APBT's and they are very conditioned, muscular but slender, most likely for fighting. She still looks good though. In these days, most people don't condition their dogs like back in the days, unless they are still using their dog for some sort of game sport, like hog hunting or maybe even weight pulling.

They were probably, like you said, trying to get some money doing a quick stud service. Lucky you are smart and know better!

most of my dogs are conditioned, some i do conformation and some that are just pets. Just cuz they are lean and well toned doesnt they used for bad. and some dogs are so hyper, they keep their selfs that lean and wellllllll toned!! i have two dogs that stay like that even with free food at all times!! but i think it is bloodlines do play a part in it as well sometimes!! I also have friends who dogs are on chains and not HUGE log chains that they are on and they run around and around all day!! and they are lean and rock soild!!! they way some dogs are breed will play a part in the size of the dog, but also will the food you feed how much you feed and how much a dog is walked or worked! as for RE dog it is kinda easy to pic these dogs out! most 100% RE dogs have large low wide bodies, but thier heads are not large enough for their bodys! thats why most RE dogs you come across will have gott in them it helps to balance out the dog!

i agree with everyone on this one your dog looks great and the standard for an apbt and a bully are deff. diff. i think he wanted a cheap stud thats all.
