Onyx tied with Rocko twice and had 9 pups on her first and only breeding.
I've read before that it depends on the female and also on how many times you let the female and male tie. The more they tie, the more eggs that get fertilized.
I'm guessing if this is true.. letting dogs tie 3-5 times will throw a larger litter like 11-16 or more lol.
